Esta letra fabulosa do musical Les Miserables fala da infância descompromissada, adolescência irresponsável e uma velhice desgostosa. A última linha da letra diz "a vida acabou com o sonho que sonhei". Quantas vezes a vida faz isso com as pessoas? Pessoas talentosíssimas que são mantidas 'na moita' pela sociedade por não ser bonitas, ousadas, carismáticas. As vezes estão escondidos por faltar coragem em correr o risco de falhar.

Que haja tempo ainda para termos a velhice sadia e orgulhosa de termos feito as coisas certas, procurando a excelência e não a perfeição. Que as escamas de meus olhos caiam.
